Oiler's Game

After talking about the best day for the event, we have decided to go to the Oiler's game with OKC on the 3rd of March. I have 36 tickets to give out, so let me know if you would like to join us or if you need an extra ticket to invite someone else from outside the class. I will distribute them on a first come, first serve basis so let me know. Thanks.

Opportunity to Connect with MBC

Richard Dixon, leader for Adult 2 SS class, stopped me Sunday to ask if our class would be willing to participate in a social with them. They want to get to know more of the younger members and hoped that we could join them for a meal. They were hoping to have a progressive dinner where everyone would have a separate course at different tables of people to facilitate discussion. I know we are not the most sociable group, but it would be a nice way to interact with the other members of the church. Nursery could be provided, and it would either be in Fellowship hall or the AC depending on anticipated headcount. What do you all think? Would you be willing to join me in this event? Give me some comments please!

Meals for Lisa

Questions to Ponder from the last few weeks...

When things happen in your life (good or bad) do you ask yourself, "why me?" or rather, "what am I supposed to get from this"?

As you look back over your life so far, how has God used the events/people/experiences in your life to mold you into the form He wants you to be in to do your special task?

Do you know your special task yet? If not, are you seeking it or waiting for it to find you?

Down but Not Out

Thank you all for your prayers as I have been under the weather, and for your patience with my absences. Hope you all enjoyed the craft lesson last week! It is always good to have a break from the pattern and hear also from other teachers. That being said, I will be back this week albeit not in my top form. I encourage you all to make sure and come to begin the lessons in earnest for this session. It is on developing our shape, and putting into action our beliefs. Hope to see you tomorrow...
